At Lloyd Park Market we’ve always tried to give priority to local businesses and we’re very happy that that we’ve been able to work with lots of local businesses and producers at the market.
However one thing that we have noticed that there are lots of brand new, small local businesses that are just starting out and may not be ready to commit to trade every week but want to use the market to test demand for their product.
For this reason we have launched a Local Guest Spot Initiative where we are offering a local food business the opportunity to trade for free at the market to see how their product goes down.
The selection criteria is simple, you either have to be a business operating in Waltham Forest or a Waltham Forest resident and you have to have been trading for less than a year.
It’s also important to remember that you will also need all the necessary legal documents like Food Hygiene certificates and Public Liability Insurance.
